Hybrid Business WLAN AP

The NWA-3160 Hybrid AP is total WLAN solution for SMB. The

groundbreaking Hybrid AP brings the benefit of centralized WLAN to

simplify deployment and maintenance; furthermore, the Hybrid AP

also provides high-quality radio performance and enterprise class

stand-alone AP functionality. NWA-3160 Hybrid AP has 3 modes for

users to choose from: Controller, Managed AP and Stand-Alone AP.

Controller, this mode can manage 8 AP’s provided by ZyXEL; including

dual-radio AP (NWA-3500), high-power AP (NWA-3163), and outdoor

AP (NWA3550). The AP function is enabled simultaneously time when

configured as a “Controller”. The mode of “Managed AP” makes the

unit fully manageable by another ZyXEL Hybrid AP. The mode of

“Stand-Alone” makes the unit performs as stand-alone enterprise

WLAN access point.
