6.4 Creating a New Internal Volume

Click the Create a New Internal Volume button in the Volume screen as shown in Figure 35

on page 84 to create a new NSA internal disk drive volume.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

Capacity This field shows the total size of the volume.

Actions This field allows you to remove or repair an internal volume and scan an

external volume.

Note: If you remove a volume (or change a volume type), all

data in the volume disk(s) is erased.

Create a New Internal

If you have disks available for a new volume, then click this button to

create it.
