3 The wizard attempts to detect which WAN connection type you are using.

If the wizard detects your connection type and your ISP uses PPPoE or PPPoA, go to Section 3.2.1

on page 35. The screen varies depending on the connection type you use.

If the wizard does not detect a connection type and the following screen appears (see Figure 12 on

page 35), check your hardware connections and click Restart the Internet Setup Wizard to have

the ZyXEL Device detect your connection again.

If the wizard still cannot detect a connection type and the following screen appears (see Figure 13

on page 35), click Next and refer to Section 3.2.2 on page 36 on how to configure the ZyXEL

Device for Internet access manually.

3.2.1 Automatic Detection

1 If you have a PPPoE or PPPoA connection, a screen displays prompting you to enter your Internet

account information. Enter the username, password and/or service name exactly as provided.
